Train to Brasov

● Spend a day in the nearby city of Brasov by taking the train 2 hours south. Return train also takes 2
hours, so this could make a good day trip or even a fun overnight adventure with other volunteers.
● Accommodations are inexpensive and can be booked on Booking.com or AirBnB.com
● Visit the local shops, churches, and surrounding areas
● Brașov is located in the central part of the country, about 166 km (103 mi) north of Bucharest and
380 km (236 mi) from the Black Sea. It is surrounded by the Southern Carpathians and is part of the
historical region of Transylvania.
