Volunteering / Responsible volunteering / Resources

As an open and honest NGO we welcome healthy discussion about volunteering, the good, the bad and the ugly.
We endeavour to keep up-to-date on all issues related to volunteering in order to ensure best practice and invite all those interested in volunteering to do the same (see below for further resources). At every opportunity we encourage feedback from all involved in the volunteering process. We do not claim to get it right every time “Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up” (Chinese proverb) but with continued learning and determination we hope that one-day responsible volunteering will become a global phenomenon. “Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence”. Care2Travel invite you to assist in the creation of the road towards responsible volunteering.
